🔎 What we are looking for

We seek a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Community Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in community management and communication, organizing online events, as well as social media experience. They will work closely with our Community and Events Manager to ensure a positive experience with our community communications and a smooth execution of our online events.

🎯 Objectives and Responsibilities of this Role

  • Collaborate with the Community Manager to clarify responsibilities and execute project planning promptly
  • Contribute to the development and execution of community engagement strategies, ensuring they are innovative and effective
  • Ensure positive and timely communication with the Vue School and events community
  • Gather feedback from the community about the Vue School products
  • Work closely with the Vue School team, including marketing, product development, and content creators, to ensure community activities align with overall company goals.
  • Conduct web research for contacts, frontend communities, and related searches as needed
  • Assist in planning and coordinating virtual events, including scheduling, logistics, and technical setup
  • Draft and send emails to speakers and collaborators of the events nurturing a positive relationship
  • Communicate with speakers and collaborators for their participation in the events
  • Work closely with the Community Manager and the Marketing team to develop and curate engaging content for event and product promotions
  • Collaborate with the Social Media team to ensure our products and events are represented in any and all related social media platforms
  • Collaborate with the Social media team in executing social media tasks, including copywriting, spreading awareness about our products and events, and scheduling posts on our social media management tool
  • Support during Live events, including:
    • Moderate chats during live events
    • Backstage support during live events
    • Discord support before and during the live events
    • Social media scheduling and posting live footage during events
    • Engage with event participants before, during, and after events to ensure a positive experience and gather feedback

✅ Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with the tech industry (preferably the frontend ecosystem)
  • Experience with social media management tools (preferably VistaSocial)
  • Experience with managing social media platforms such as Reddit, Discord, YouTube, TikTok
  • Proficiency in using online event platforms (e.g., Zoom, vFairs) and familiar with streaming software (e.g., StreamYard)
