Responsibilities:<ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.</li><li>Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable JavaScript code.</li><li>Work closely with designers to implement and enhance user interfaces using Svelte.</li><li>Optimise application performance and troubleshoot issues.</li><li>Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>Proven experience as a JavaScript developer.</li><li>Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.</li><li>Experience with state management and RESTful API integration.</li><li>Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Good communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Experience developing tools using GIS/Mapping libraries and application of mapping concepts (such as GeoJSON) useful.

</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Ability to learn and pick up Svelte and its core principles quickly.</li><li>Experience with other front-end frameworks or libraries, such as React or Vue.</li><li>Knowledge of back-end technologies and databases.</li><li>Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes.</li><li>Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).</li><li>5+years of professional experience in JavaScript development.
