The mission of the Technical Communicator is to teach our customers about Metabase in the way that makes the most sense – through videos, tutorials, diagrams, or training. We are looking for someone who loves data, enjoys helping others, and is excited to work for a startup to help our customers get the most out of Metabase.
What you’ll do
Create tutorials, guides, and videos for Metabase Learn
Collaborate with our Product and Success Engineering teams to identify training opportunities
Review and improve documentation to proactively address customer education needs
Lead educational webinars and workshops
Design onboarding materials for our customers
About you
Enjoy helping people and solving their problems
Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in at least one of the following:
Data science or analytics
Data engineering
Application development
Solid understanding of database concepts and data landscape
3+ years of experience of developing engaging educational materials for technical audiences in data analytics, data engineering, or related fields
You are an expert in at least one of:
Technical writing
Technical curriculum development
Creating technical videos
Nice to have
Knowledge of markdown, HTML, git
Experience with video editing or graphic design
Fluency in multiple languages (this is helpful as our users are worldwide)
